Apprentices in Europe

AFTER GAINING A DIPLOMA: WORK EXPERIENCE AND APPRENTICESHIPS IN EUROPEAN COMPANIES


The centre offers important international opportunities to students who have completed the professional diploma. Every year, the Erasmus Plus programme provides five students with the opportunity to complete a six-month work experience placement in Europe. Candidates undergo a selection process followed by a series of activities to prepare them for the experience on a linguistic and cultural level.
In addition, thanks to the European Apprenticeship Ambassadors programme (a pilot project promoted by the European Parliament), students from the catering sector are given the opportunity to gain employment as an apprentice with French companies in the catering industry whilst attending professional specialisation courses at the Centre de formation des Apprentis de Saint Michel Mont Mercure and Centre di Formation de la Ville de Tours partner schools in the Loire and Atlantic Loire regions.
